Stewards needed for our 2012 meets.   Grab yourselves a bargain free holiday and help
your fellow campers and DA by stewarding one of our meets.  It's not difficult and can be
a great way of having fun and meeting new friends.

Starting at our AGM on 11th February, we have received instructions from Headquarters that every full Club member
must show their membership card with number before entering any rally site.  These details must be copied
onto our stewards sheets.  This ruling applies throughout the Club to every member and every DA Section.

Directions to all our meets can be found here            Site directions

We are always extremely grateful to our meet stewards who are all volunteers.
If you think you would like to 'give it a try' check out our duties list below,  then
contact Martin on the telephone number below ....... Stewarding

If any of our stewards would like to organise 'mini events' at their rally can they please let any Committee member know so it can be included on our website (eg the 50p shop visit and raffle earlier on this year).  You don't have to organise anything though, not even a coffee morning.  This is entirely up to you. Thanks.

Our 2012 Temporary Holiday Sites can be found here ..............2012 THS

Prices quoted as per Out and About.  Unless otherwise stated, the contact number for all of our meets is
07733979403 - Martin.

May 18-20                         North West Regional Meet, St Michaels on Wyre
Here                      Sunday 11am NWR AGM & Bar now on site - run by our own LSWLDA
                                          members has been booked.

This is a letter received from NWR Executive and Council for all members

Please can you bring to the attention of all of your members and fellow campers the attached  flyers advertising the NW Region Meet and AGM at St Michaels, and, in association with the event, the re-introduction of a bar, “The Crown,” in response to a number of requests from Region members.

“The Crown” is the latest in a line of initiatives resulting from suggestions, and criticisms, received by the NW Region Council over the past few years. The process of considering constructive comment, which has been ongoing, will continue and to this end members are encouraged to attend the AGM and have their say in the discussion on Region Affairs.

In addition all units of the North West Region are being invited to establish stalls within the Trade Area based on those successfully organised at their weekend and special meets. Any proceeds from these stalls will be in aid of the participating unit and not Region funds. Please notify the Trade Officer through the dedicated e-mail address nwr.sec@live.co.uk if you wish to be included.

Finally the NWR Executive and Council will be grateful if you publicise the flyers to your Committee, at all organised meets and by e-mail to all members on your contacts list. In the words of our past PRO Colin Paley, who is to be presented with a Certificate of Honour at the AGM, “the members are Region.” Please encourage members to attend the Region Meet and help us to preserve this maxim.     Regional Meet
