on Sunday 24th October, Lisa for winning gold medal in her first judo
competition (she only started training in June this year) in the
junior green belt

Congratulations to Rachel
Bennett on being awarded the Doug Taylor shield for having achieved the
highest number of points on passing her CCY test at the 2010 North
West Regional Meet. Well done Rachel!!!

CCY News and information to date.
Fund raising activities are often seen at our weekend meets.
The CCY have their own 'account' and have their own fund raising
events. Most money from their raffles and events go
to their general funds which pays for games, crafts activities,
medals, prizes, etc etc
HUGE CONGRATULATIONS
to our CCY Chairman Connor and
member Rachel Bennett on passing their CCY tests recently. We
are all so proud of you. Well done!!!! Below are some
photos of Connor and Rachel and their new found friends on their test

More CCY
good news
CCY membership for
12-17 year olds will now be free from 1st April 2009. It was
previously priced at £5 a year.
CCY members aged
18-20 years who pass their Youth Test before their 18th birthday will
still pay just £5 for their membership.
The subscription
for Senior Youth members aged 21 to 29 years will be £18.
In addition, CCY
members can now camp on UK Club Sites at child rates until the age of
21, so long as they've passed their Youth Test before their 18th
birthday.
