M53 J3, follow A552 towards Upton,
turn right at lights at Arrowe Park
towards Upton, turn left at lights
after hospital, then take the left
fork at bottom of hill. Site on LHS.
Astley Green Colliery museum,
Higher Green Lane, Astley Green,
Tyldesley, Lancashire.
On A580, at the traffic lights South
West of Boothstown, take the turning
to higher Green. Proceed down
Higher Green Lane to the small grassed
area on the left. Immediately after this
turn left. The gates to the museum are
directly ahead.
Burscough
Cricket Club, School Lane,
Burscough, Lancs L40 4AE
A59 North, cross 1st canal bridge into town,
turn right before next bridge at mini roundabout
(Tesco is on your left). Follow road on School
Lane, under 2 bridges then 50 yds on right
for Club entrance.
Christleton
M53/A55 come off onto A51 SP
Nantwich.
Ignore the first sign for Christleton on
right.
Straight on till you reach Vicar’s Cross golf course.
After 100yds , turn right SP
Christleton.
Follow road until X rds.
( Ignore sign for Christleton.) At
Xrds, turn left,
pass the Plough Inn. After 200 yds turn left
into

A49 South, pass the main gate of the castle,
continue to gardens entrance (opposite
Cholmondeley Arms and SP Wrenbury,
turn right here, then right again through
estate winding road towards gardens (do
not turn right into private houses). You'll
come to open field, look for DA signs.

CW5 8HG A49 South, turn left at Chumley Arms,
Cholmondeley Road, follow road a few miles over
canal bridge, site on left through pub car park.
Good
pub food available on site.
Dalehey Farm, Ribchester.
From A59 take the B6245 SP Ribchester
At t-junction in Ribchester turn right SP
Longridge, site on R in approx 0.5 mile.
Edisford Bridge, Clitheroe
From Preston on A59 turn left onto A671.
Follow road to town centre, keep left onto
B6243. Continue over river Ribble, up hill
past Edisford Bridge pub, turn right then
immediate right. Follow DA signs.
Ellesmere -
Take the A528 from Wrexham, in
Ellesmere Town follow the one way system,
pass the mere on the left. Site is on left, turn
into wooded area after the car parks, opposite
Monastery. Pass through old ruin gatehouse,
follow the country road in estate to entrance
near the main house, on left hand side.

A49 South, pass the Hollies/Cabbage PH on
left. Turn left at lights, site on left after 2 miles
(past another ph on left)
Fell View Park,Sykes Farm, Scorton,
Lancs
PR5 1DA Recommended route - M6 J33,
follow A6 South towards Garstang, almost
immediately after leaving roundabout turn left
into Hampson Lane. At end of lane turn right,
follow road 1 mile to X-roads, at Fleece Inn go
straight ahead, stay on road. Follow signs to
Scorton, in 1.5m turn right at X-roads towards
Scorton and Garstang. 0.5m up lane turn left
site on right at Sykes Farm.
Fishpools Inn, Fishpool Road,
Delamere, Cheshire.
From A49 take A556 towards Chester. Pass
Harringtons Caravans on left, turn left at next x-roads
after pub onto B5152. At next x-roads Fishpools Inn
facing you, turn right onto A54 then immediately left
into pub car park, follow DA signs.

Leave M55 at J1, take A6 North, in approx
9 miles turn left opposite Little Chef into
Cabus Nook Lane. Site on R in 500 yards.

Pass British Aerospace, over first roundabout, through
traffic lights, at second roundabout take second exit towards
Whalley, into Whalley Road. After garage and pub turn left
into entrance (between pub and church).

M6, junction 22, take A579 towards Leigh.
At traffic lights turn right. At next lights turn right
onto B5207 towards Clucheth. Go past Whites Farm,
site is first farm on right.

If using a sat nav this may take you off
Southport Road down Blackgate Lane through to
Hundred End Lane. This is a single track road with limited passing spaces and
is also used
as a main route for large container wagons coming to and from the salad
farms and it can get busy.
Suggest alternative routes coming from Southport A565 Preston roundabout, take
the Banks Road
turning and stay on this road through Ralph's Wife's Lane to Shore Road.
Route from Burscough direction, traffic lights at Tarleton, go straight ahead
through Tarleton,
Hesketh Bank to Shore Road.

Pengwern Hall, Llangollen
IGNORE DIRECTIONS IN OUT AND ABOUT - THEY ARE WRONG!!
Take the A483 South, turn right into Llangollen, turn left over the
Dee bridge. At traffic lights turn left onto the A5. The
Star Inn is
on your left, turn immediately right up through the housing estate,
where the road bends to the right go straight up past the new houses
the gate is opposite this on the bend. Look for DA signs.

in Cuerdale Lane, past memorial hall on R.

turn left at Chelford Island signposted Alderley Edge.
After going under the railway bridge at traffic lights
take the second opening on the left (in approx. 1/2 mile),
turn at the WHITE BANDED TREE, down the track, past
the 5 van site and bare left into the rally field.

South, out of
Ellesmere, onto Scotland Street, pass the golf course
on your left. Site in about 2 miles on right turn immediately
after the Church. Turn in at village hall. Look for DA signs.

Take A55 Chester/Conway road, pass Holywell,
take B5122 Caerwys road to town centre. Turn
right into High Street, left at T-junction, pass
church on left hand side. Site towards right
on 300 yards.
