Some Good and Bad News

WE HAVE SOME GOOD NEWS, AND WE HAVE SOME BAD NEWS

Sadly, the Bad News is that after a great deal of discussion, debate and heart-searching, our Committee met last night and reluctantly decided that in the interests of everyone concerned, we must postpone our much-planned Centenary Celebrations that were due to take place on late May Bank Holiday this year. This, of course, is because we cannot risk our members’ health, and nor do we know that the restrictions will have been lifted by then. 

And now the Good News, we are re-arranging the Centenary Celebrations at the same site, Victoria Park Southport on the weekend of 1^st – 6^th of June 2022. We already had it booked for a meet and we have an extra day so that we can celebrate as we would have done this year, and as only us Scousers know how.

We will keep everyone up to date via the website and on our own Facebook page as well as North West and Camping and Caravanning Club all DAs

I’m sure you’ll understand what a heart-breaking decision this was for us, but we look forward to meeting up with you all at next year’s celebrations and any of our meets which are allowed to go ahead in the meantime. Anyone who has already booked will be hearing directly from our booking officer, Alan Kendrick.
